How to make an impact in Miami/Florida
This story is just too good not to be told. A little while back, my friends came to visit me in Miami. Steve’s favorite item of clothing is a bright red jacket with FERRARI printed on the back. They are very popular in Turkey where you can find them in abundance in any market. They are fake, cheap, warm and very attention attracting.

One day, we were walking across the Brickell bridge, Steve in his jacket in the lead. A car stopped in the middle of the bridge, the driver honking his horn, rolling down his window and enthusiastically waving his own jacket, with PORSCHE printed on it. Cars piled up behind in, the bell started to clank because the briddge was about to open…no matter, two car racing fans had met and needed to communicate their enthusiasm.

A few days later we were sitting in a restaurant, Steve again wearing a jacket. A guy walked up to him and asked him to name his price…he absolutely wanted to buy the jacket off his body. But Steve didn’t want to part with his baby, leaving a very disappointed man behind.
I’m surprised the jacket didn’t make the headlines of the Miami Herald. A last twist to the famous jacket: it’s now walking the streets of New York!! A friend of mine, or rather her 17 year old son saw the jacket in one of the pictures I had sent her and absolutely needed to have one. So, I went to the market in Bodrum, bought one for him and took it back on my visit to New York. You should have seen a happy bunny!!
Anyone wants a FERRARI jacket…just say the word, I’ll get you one.
What a funny story! That’s great that the jacket was so popular, and that you were able to get one for your friend’s son!

This gives me an enterprising idea… buy a bunch of jackets from Turkey, wear them around the U.S. and wait for people to offer to buy them from me.
Car racing fans are always able to make friends any where in the world (I know the enthusiasm from going to racing events). I am glad he is making a fashion statement and having fun with the commotion =D

Interesting story. These are one of those little stories which can be remembered for long time when you are stressed. Life can make some real stories which are not even possible in movies.
I think you need to bring some back with you and sell them. They sound like a hot item. It’s amazing what some get very excited about.
